Here are some interesting stories about jobs we did removing junk in Essex County, NJ
There’s junk lurking everywhere in Essex County, New Jersey—in attics, basements, garages, homes, and businesses. This junk can be overwhelming, and most people need a little (or a lot of) help in assessing their situation and getting rid of the excess “stuff.” Over time, belongings can accumulate and start to take over your home or apartment. You may find yourself thinking, “Where did it all come from?” But that’s where Junk-a-Haulics can help out. Whether you live in Maplewood or Newark, Montclair or Nutley, we can come in and clean out the junk in your life, and restore peace and order to your Essex County homes, while recycling and repurposing perfectly good items that you no longer need and giving back to the community.
Here’s a special story that links Junk-a-Haulics to the Wounded Warrior Project: Not too long ago, we received a call from Will, a neurologist who works with the Wounded Warrior Project. Will shared the amazing story of Joe, a highly decorated veteran, who lived with his lovely wife Susan in Millburn. Joe suffers from severe brain trauma, having been blown up by IEDs (improvised explosive devices) more than six times, after having served several tours in Iraq. He and his wife were having a terrible time managing at home, and folks at the Wounded Warrior project were determined to help in any way they could. Will called Junk-A-Haulics to ask us if we could help the couple with their desperate need for home organization and junk removal. We went to Joe’s house to take a look, and set up an immediate action plan. This particular job was going to take two full days of work—the first to help them sort through their belongings, and the second to haul their junk out of the house.
We set a date, and our haulers got to their home bright and early. We went right to work, helping Joe and Susan sort out their belongings. Going room to room over the course of the two days, we asked them what they wanted to keep, what they wanted to donate, and what was simply junk they wanted to get rid of. We boxed up all of their paperwork, and then helped organize and label cartons for them. We also completely cleaned out their computer room, bedroom, closets and attic.
Junk-A-Haulics loves to give back, and was particularly honored to be able to serve the needs of a veteran, who had paid such a tremendous price while serving his country and all of us.

“These guys were the greatest. Very professional, polite, and thorough. After scheduling an appointment with another junk service and being disappointed when they called me to tell me they would be over 2 hours late, I called Junk-a-Haulics. I spoke directly with Jeff and scheduled a time with him. They showed up right on time and took away all the junk out of my parent’s garage and several floors of their house. They even swept out the garage. Their prices were the best out of any quote I received. Definitely use these guys! You won’t be disappointed.”
Sarah M., Verona
“They helped put my entertainment center together as well as take out the old one. I was worried about it because the new one was very heavy. These young men did an exceptional job and I am very impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. Their cost fit perfectly within my budget. I recommend them for any job.”
