Here’s an interesting story about one job we did removing junk in Morris County, NJ

Just like any other county in New Jersey, Morris County is no stranger to junk. And where there is junk you will find Junkahaulics. From Mount Olive, to Morristown to Boonton to Mendham, Morris County is largely suburban and that means a lot of attics and basements full of junk that needs to be removed.

We have quite a few really awesome clients that we have done clean outs and haul aways for in Morris County.

Here are some interesting stories about some jobs we did removing junk in Morris County, NJ:

Boonton Township NJ

At Junkahaulics we like to say that no job is too big or too small. Recently we had a job that was pretty big in Boonton Township.

We got the call from Paula D. The job was an estate clean out on a quiet street in Boonton Township and it was a big one. We ended up filling 12 trucks for the clean out.

The former owner of the house was an electrician and had tons of metal including over 100 spools of wire, and bins after bins of scrap metal. We even had to take away an antique car from the 1950s.

We also found antique typewriters and a newspaper that was from 1963 when President Kennedy was assassinated.

Like all jobs that we do, we recycle and donate as much as we can. You’d be surprised how much some of our “junk” can actually be extremely helpful to local Morris County charities like Morris Habitat Restore in Randolph, Market Street Mission in Morristown and Furniture Solutions in Morris Plains.

Randolph, NJ

We have also done a haul away of construction debris for an episode of the WNBC 4 television show George To The Rescue.

After the tragic loss of their parents the four Everett children lost their parents during super storm Sandy.

George came to the Everett kids rescue to give them a much needed home makeover. The kids are being raised by their oldest sister who was 19 when their parents passed away.

The Everetts had a lot of half done projects and out of control messes. George and his team helped organize and improve the kids’ living spaces. They started by focusing on just a couple of rooms, but ended up doing major upgrades to the entire house.

You can see the entire episode of the show here.
